When I travel, I always think of bring back some useful tips to my Malaysian friends. Even though I am not a Muslim, I wish all my Muslim friends can enjoy the country as much as I do.
Hong Kong is a place with so much indulgence of food, I am writing this today, so our Muslim friends would not miss out the best flavors of Hong Kong made in the Halal manners.
I met a lot of Muslim travellers in Hong Kong, I believe the choices of Halal food and also the least language barrier are the biggest push for them to visit HK. Hong Kong people speak good English! No worries about the language.

Islamic Centre Canteen
I personally think this is A MUST TRY. Why? Because one of my biggest excitements in Hong Kong is to eat their Dim Sum, which no one should missed in a Hong Kong trip! Good news for you all! Now you can try the authentic halal dim sum at Islamic Centre Canteen.
What is your favorite Dim Sum? Siu Mai? Har Gow? Xiao Long Pao? No matter which one is your favorite, you’ll be able to find it here!

The most recommended food here is the veal goulash (beef). You can easily see people in the shop ordering this, and tons of good review online. Even though it is now such a popular restaurant, the review says that it maintains a very good standard of food taste.

Wai Kee
Duck rice is definitely one of the signature dishes of Hong Kong. I have a friend from Malaysia who has to eat duck rice upon his arrival in airport every time when he visits Hong Kong!
It’s not easy to find a halal duck rice stall in Hong Kong, but here you go! WAI KEE – one of the best duck rice in Hong Kong. Well done crispy skin and tender meat with their special recipe sauces, I am sure no one could resist this!

Ma’s Restaurant
Another beef goulash that you shouldn’t miss out! Crispy fried pastry coat at the outside and juicy, soupy minced meat at the inside. It is the masterpiece of this restaurant! Never forget about their lamb rolls. It taste like nicely cooked flavorful lamb cuisine wrapped by Roti Canai. I swear it is nice!!!

Chrisly Café
I had pastries from bakery almost every day when I was in Hong Kong. Because their egg tarts and rocky buns are too good! I can’t help falling in love with their milky egg tart with strong butter fragrance.
